Limited installation space on the existing lighting towers and the requirement to retain part of the stadium's previous lighting system were among the key challenges of this project.

Golnoor's engineering team developed a hybrid lighting solution by redesigning the lighting layout and fixture positioning. In addition to the existing lighting towers, several Faraz LED stadium floodlights were installed on custom-engineered steel structures above the spectator stands. The design, fabrication, installation and commissioning of these structures were completed by Golnoor, enabling the project to achieve the required lighting performance for professional football.

Professional stadium lighting involves much more than installing high-power floodlights. Critical factors include illuminance, uniformity, glare control, shadow reduction, beam aiming and compliance with broadcasting requirements.

At Fooladshahr Stadium, the primary challenge was to create a reliable, standards-compliant lighting system capable of supporting night matches while providing excellent visibility for players, referees, spectators and television cameras.

Golnoor selected Faraz LED Stadium Floodlights, specifically engineered for large outdoor sports venues and high-performance lighting applications.

The modular design of the Faraz luminaire allows beam distribution and aiming angles to be optimized according to tower locations, pitch dimensions and project requirements. This enables precise light distribution exactly where it is needed on the playing field.

Professional football stadium lighting has a direct impact on match quality. The lighting system must simultaneously provide optimal visibility for players, referees, spectators and broadcast cameras.

At Fooladshahr Stadium, the lighting design focused on achieving professional competition requirements through high uniformity, effective glare control and enhanced visual performance across the entire pitch.
