َAbout Project

Naqsh-e Jahan Square, also known as Imam Square, is one of the world's most significant historical urban spaces and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by the Shah Mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Ali Qapu Palace and Qeysarie Gate, it represents one of the finest achievements of Safavid architecture and urban planning.

Golnoor completed the architectural and landscape lighting project to enhance the square's nighttime identity while respecting its historic character. The project combines modern LED technology with careful lighting design to highlight the architectural details of this internationally recognized cultural landmark.

High-efficiency LED luminaires provide uniform illumination, reduced energy consumption and excellent visual comfort. Lighting levels, color temperature and beam control were carefully selected to preserve the authenticity of the historic environment.

The lighting design improves the visitor experience, enhances public safety and strengthens the visual identity of one of Iran's most important cultural destinations after sunset.

The Naqsh-e Jahan Square Lighting Project demonstrates Golnoor's expertise in illuminating world-class heritage sites by combining architectural sensitivity, sustainable lighting technologies and outstanding engineering performance.
